FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FIND ANSWERS TO THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT EUROPA-PEPTIDE, OUR PRODUCTS, AND HOW WE ENSURE QUALITY, RELIABILITY, AND SUPPORT FOR YOUR NEEDS.

GENERAL

WHAT ARE PEPTIDES, AND WHAT THEY DO?

Peptydy to krótkie łańcuchy aminokwasów, które działają jako naturalni posłańcy w organizmie, regulując procesy życiowe, takie jak wzrost, naprawa i metabolizm. Mogą wspierać wzrost mięśni, utratę tłuszczu, zdrowie skóry i regenerację tkanek poprzez stymulowanie własnych funkcji biologicznych organizmu. Krótko mówiąc, peptydy pomagają organizmowi pracować bardziej wydajnie, promując regenerację, wydajność i ogólne samopoczucie.

Are your peptides tested for purity?

Yes. Every batch is independently tested by third-party laboratories for identity and purity, typically exceeding 98–99% verified by HPLC and mass spectrometry.

Where are your peptides manufactured?

Our peptides are produced in GMP-compliant laboratories using high-quality raw materials to ensure consistency and purity.

Do your peptides contain any additives or fillers?

No. All peptides are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form with no fillers or preservatives, unless specifically stated in the product description.

Do you provide technical documentation for each peptide?

Yes. We can provide molecular weight, sequence data, solubility info, and storage guidelines for most compounds upon request.

How can I verify peptide identity myself?

You can verify peptide identity using HPLC or mass spectrometry methods. We provide reference COAs for comparison.

How long does it take for customer support to respond?

We typically respond within 24 hours during business days.

Why do prices vary between different peptides?

Pricing depends on sequence length, synthesis complexity, and purity level, which can vary significantly between compounds.

Proper Handling

How do I reconstitute peptides correctly?

Peptides should be reconstituted using a sterile solvent np. woda bakteriostatyczna lub 0.9% sodium chloride, depending on your research protocol. Add the solvent slowly along the vial wall to avoid foaming or peptide denaturation.

How much solvent should I add to the vial?

The volume depends on your desired concentration. For example, adding 2 mL to a 10 mg vial yields a 5 mg/mL solution. You should calculate based on your needs.

Can I shake the vial after adding water?

No. Do nie wstrząsać the vial vigorously, as this can damage the peptide chain. Instead, gently roll or swirl until the powder is fully dissolved.

What if the peptide does not fully dissolve?

Some peptides have low solubility in water. In such cases, a small amount of acetic acid, ethanol, or DMSO may be used as co-solvent, depending on the compound and research design.

Can peptides be diluted after reconstitution?

Yes. Once dissolved, you may further dilute with sterile water or buffer to reach the required concentration for your experimental conditions.

How can I calculate peptide concentration (mg/mL)?

Divide the total peptide mass by the amount of solvent added.
Example: 5 mg peptide + 2 mL solvent = 2.5 mg/mL concentration.

Is there a universal dosing chart for peptides?

No. Each peptide has a unique molecular structure and biological target, so dosing must be determined individually by researchers.

Can I mix different peptides in one vial?

Mixing is not recommended unless the compatibility and stability of both peptides have been verified. Cross-reactions can degrade the compounds.

How long after reconstitution is a peptide usable?

Once reconstituted, peptides should be stored refrigerated (2–8°C) and used within 7–30 days, depending on the compound and solvent.

Can peptides be frozen?

Yes. Lyophilized peptides can be stored frozen (-20°C or lower) for long-term stability. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles after reconstitution.

What happens if peptides are left at room temperature?

Short exposure during shipment is fine, but prolonged warmth can accelerate degradation and reduce purity.

Can I refreeze a reconstituted peptide?

Not recommended. Re-freezing can denature the peptide. It’s best to divide into aliquots before storage to avoid repeated thawing.

How can I tell if a peptide has degraded?

Signs include discoloration, cloudiness, or precipitate formation. Always check before research use and consult analytical methods like HPLC for verification.

What’s the difference between lyophilized and reconstituted stability?

Lyophilized peptides remain stable for months or years, while reconstituted solutions have a shorter active lifespan and must be refrigerated.

Advanced / Technical

What does “lyophilized” mean?

Lyophilized means the peptide has been freeze-dried to preserve stability and shelf life. Before use, it must be reconstituted with a suitable solvent like bacteriostatic water.

Why are peptides supplied as a powder instead of liquid?

Peptides are freeze-dried to ensure maximum stability oraz longer shelf life during storage and transport.

What purity should I expect from your peptides?

Our peptides are ≥98% pure, verified through HPLC and MS testing to ensure accurate research results.

Can you synthesize custom peptides?

Yes, we offer custom peptide synthesis services with flexible quantities, sequences, and purity levels. Please contact us for a quote.

Can peptides degrade over time?

Yes. Exposure to heat, light, or moisture can degrade peptides. Always store them as instructed to maintain integrity.

Are the vials vacuum sealed?

Yes, all vials are vacuum sealed under sterile conditions to prevent contamination and preserve product stability.

What does the “MG” on the label stand for?

“MG” refers to milligrams, indicating the total peptide mass per vial — not the reconstituted concentration.

What factors influence peptide stability?

Stability is affected by temperature, light exposure, pH, and solvent type. Following proper storage guidelines minimizes degradation.

Are all peptides water-soluble?

No. Peptides with hydrophobic amino acid sequences may require organic solvents or pH adjustments to dissolve properly.

What does “sequence purity” mean?

Sequence purity refers to how accurately the peptide’s amino acid chain matches its intended formula — usually confirmed via HPLC and MS testing.
